We're getting married...again!

We met at church and were introduced by a mutual friend because Lance and I are both cyclists. Over the next few months, Lance and Stephanie quickly became best friends as they went cycling together nearly everyday. He is her biggest supporter and she his #1 cheerleader. After completing a dreadful 522 mile bike race, Stephanie thought, "Maybe I could date this kid."

Before going to Chicago for Lance's boot camp graduation (Navy), Stephanie booked a professional photo shoot for family pictures that day. When Stephanie told Lance about this, he said, "Oh we can use those as our engagement pictures!" To which her response was, "Yeah, if you propose before then." After his graduation they brainstormed ideas where they could get engaged near the Naval Base (they knew they would get engaged that day) while driving to the photography studio. The photographer took individuals of Lance in his dress blues ("Wowzers, he is so handsome!" says Stephanie), Lance with his parents and then just he with Stephanie. The photographer asked Lance if there was any pose he wanted to do and that's when he got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and asked Stephanie to marry him. She was so surprised he did it during the photo session! While tears of joy streamed down her face, she said "YES!"
