FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above at any time. We will send a physical invitation by mail, but it will ultimately direct you to our website!

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

To keep our celebration as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you receive a plus-one, their name will appear alongside yours when you complete the RSVP.

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this is an adult-only event!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal, with a garden-party feel! We are encouraging elevated attire in fun patterns and colors. Long dresses or skirts, suits and ties, and dressy separates are preferred. We ask that guests refrain from wearing blue jeans or any white/ivory attire.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 3pm. It will take time to check in through the main gate and navigate your way to the Lodge.

Question

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Answer

Our venue is in Delta, AL, in Cheaha State Park. We decided not to do a hotel block to give our guests the freedom to stay at a place that is most comfortable for them! Please visit our "Travel" tab to see hotels in a nearby city.

Question

What if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP before 06/22/20206, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. Sadly meaning there will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations made for you.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify Kirsten or H-D as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from using any phones or cameras during our ceremony! The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you would like!
