We’re tying the knot!

We each shrugged our shoulders and figured “Why not?!” when Facebook Dating first came out. About 3 weeks into us each using it we “matched” and little did we know that small interaction would lead us here. The parallels between us were a little too coincidental. Two days into talking we discovered we’d been neighbors for 25 years, and our first face to face interaction was over the back fence. Gwyneth even remembers playing with Phillip way back in about 1997. She got hit and went home crying, throwing dirty looks at their backyard for the next 5 years. Wasnt there a saying about when a little boy hits a little girl that means he likes her? We should have known… They also were both in the music department at HFCC at the same time but somehow their paths never crossed. Then there was the time a few years before they met that Gwyneth sneakily ran away from doing yard work in the back of the garage because she looked up and this really cute guy was sitting on his back porch. Messy hair and dirty clothes she couldnt let him see her like that. All those missed opportunities and it was like God cracked his knuckles and made sure that this time we were going to meet! We went on our first date November 3rd, where he “picked me up” and we walked to the coffee shop on the corner. Instant connection and here we are, saying “I do” for the rest of our lives.
