Why Michigan?

We are blessed to have a community of friends and family across the country. When picking a venue, we wanted somewhere central for everyone to gather and share in a setting we love - one filled with nature, close to our beloved Lake Michigan, and accessible to all.

Do you have a dress code?

Answer

We ask guests to refrain from whites (duh!) and light greens. We ask that you dress in semi-formal / cocktail attire. Bright colors and florals are encouraged! No jeans please.

Can I bring a guest? Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

Due to the size of our wedding, we ask that you not bring any extra guests or children unless noted on your invitation. Please be mindful when RSVPing. If a child or extra guest is brought to the venue, we will not be able to accommodate them, and we would have to ask you to excuse yourself from the event. While we understand this might not be ideal for some guests, we thank you for your understanding.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

No! There are several different hotels within the area that can accommodate you and your budget. We would rather you stay somewhere where you are comfortable than a single specific location.
