Tying the knot

August 17, 2019 So you might be wondering, how did we get here? Let us rewind to the summer of 2019. Pre-pandemic, on a sunny Saturday, August 17th, 2019, in the vibrant city of Yonkers, New York, our love story began with an unexpected twist of fate. It was a warm summer day, and Jesse had recently returned from Australia after a modeling gig. Sara, happened to be having brunch that afternoon with her long time friend, Tammi. After much debate about whether they should go out later that night or not, they decided to hit McLean Ave and walked into good ole Rory Dolan's. Sara's friend had recognized a familiar face from college across the bar, that face belonging to the one and only Mr. Michael Alba who happened to be one of Jesse's best friends. As Michael made his way over to say hello, he had mentioned he was waiting for his friends to arrive. Captivated by Jesse's height and soft smile, Sara felt drawn to say something and mustered the courage to talk to him. We struck up a conversation about our shared love for the movie Holes, how PMS can be a real thing in men too, and the thrill of exploring new places. As we talked and danced, we discovered a remarkable synchronicity in our interests and aspirations.
