Jack and Gwen’s story began on the dance floor at senior prom, and just a few short months later, they found themselves starting a new chapter together at the University of Iowa. From cheering in the stands on fall Saturdays to late-night dining hall dates and quiet study sessions, they quickly built a life full of laughter, friendship, and shared dreams in Iowa City. One perfect summer day in Okoboji over the Fourth of July, Jack asked Gwen to marry him while family watched and cheered from the dock over and boats honking in celebration. After the wedding, they’ll continue their journey in Iowa City as Jack pursues dental school and Gwen continues her 2nd year of medical school, excited for all that lies ahead together.
