BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The closest airport is Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI). It is about a 90-minute drive to St. Michaels. There are a number of daily nonstops. Southwest airline has a major hub at BWI. You can rent a car on site at the airport or schedule a ride with Bay Runner Shuttle: https://bayrunnershuttle.com. Other nearby airports include Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (about an hour and 40-minute drive) and Dulles International Airport (about a 2 hour drive).

Travel Note

CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE

Travel time can vary during the spring/summer months due to beach bound traffic from Baltimore and Washington crossing the bay bridge. Traffic is at its worst on Friday afternoons and evenings heading towards St. Michaels, and on Sunday afternoons and evenings heading back towards the airports.
