We’re tying the knot!

Darrel and I have known each other since we were 16!! At first we were casual friends, then I was trying to get out of an abusive relationship and Darrel lived less than 30 minutes away, he physically came to my rescue then and many times! It was then we developed a wonderful deeper friendship… about 18 years ago! Through both of our other past relationships we stayed good friends, life was lived, hurdles were crossed, some bad decisions were made… these events brought us closer and closer over the years! These past several years, we talked almost every day, we soon discovered we had the same thought process on life, similar goals for our future, and an incredible bond of trust that is very deep! We started saying “I love you” years before he proposed! We are so grateful you’re supporting us in our next journey of life, and this level of commitment to each other for the remainder of our lives!

Some of you may be wondering why in the world are we getting married on a Tuesday in February? Is it cheaper? Or because it is considered the month of love? Well yes, Tuesday is cheaper, ha!! But in English Folklore, it states Saturday is the unluckiest day to marry, and to marry on a Tuesday is for Health! In addition, Darrel picked this date, because he thought it was cool!
