House Or Rental
As a university town, lots of folks takeoff for the summer, and so there should be a good number of apartments and houses for rent. On the Southwest side of the city, the Dudgeon-Monroe, Vilas, Greenbush, and Monona Bay neighborhoods offer quick access to downtown and plenty of cafes in walking distance of most homes. On the isthmus, the Tenney-Lapham and Marquette (Willy Street) neighborhoods offer quick access to lake views and parks. Of course there are also lots of beautiful views and cute houses all over the city! Because of the international CrossFit championship games, happening the week after our wedding, we recommend making reservations soonish.
House Or Rental
Available for weekly rentals (ranging from $525 to $575), these apartments are great option. There is a pool, playground, and laundry on-site. We think this is a great, affordable option, and it's where we'll be staying with Stevie. Book soon as they tend to fill up during the summer! (Please note that their availability may be limited as the week following our wedding turns out to be the week of the international CrossFit championships, happening in Madison.)
Flight
If you are flying, this will be the most convenient airport, located just 10 minutes outside of Madison's downtown. You could also check Milwaukee's Mitchell Airport (MKE), about 90 minutes away, or the Chicago airports, about 2 hours away.
