Bowen Island (Nex̱wlélex̱wm) is located just off the coast of West Vancouver and is accessed via an 18 minute ferry. The ferry runs 'roughly' every 1h10m from Horseshoe Bay to Snug Cove. Tuscany is just a 3 minute walk from the Ferry terminal up the main road. We encourage everyone to consider traveling to the island as a foot passenger as the ferry can get very busy during the summer. The last BC Ferry leaves at 11:30 pm and we would strongly suggest getting your car in line as soon as the 10:30 ferry leaves if you plan on catching it (you can always pop back to the restaurant for more dancing while you wait to head back to the mainland). We will also arrange a late night passenger ferry for an revellers who want to stay with us until midnight. We planned our day not intending for anyone to need to stay on the island, however, if you wish to, see the suggestions below (please note, we have never stayed at any of these as we usually stay at the family cabin).

I know, its not train. The ferry leaves roughly every 1h10m from Horseshoe Bay and takes 18 minutes. You cannot reserve tickets and is first come first serve when driving. It can take many more walk on passengers than cars. The ferry can also be very busy on a sunny summer weekend.

Short term rentals are allowed on Bowen Island under the same rules as Vancouver (principle residence or separate residence on site). There is no Uber/Lyft/Taxi service on island so a vehicle may be required to reach properties not in Snug Cove.
