What documents does my CHILD need to board the ship (child sailing and/or non-sailing)

Answer

Every child will need a copy of their birth certificate or a valid passport to board the ship. ALL PASSPORTS must be more than 6 months from expiration at the time of sailing. It is recommended that you bring a copy of the child's birth certificate even if they have a passport

Where can I stay before the cruise ? Hotel info

How much is parking and additional details

Answer

Parking is $17 per day at the cruise port , but rates are subject to change. Full payment is due upon exiting the parking garage. Handicap parking is available with proof of a valid permit. Excepted forms of payment: US dollars and major credit cards For those wedding guests who choose to stay as a guest at " Hotel Current " before the wedding , there is a special parking rate offered by the hotel with shuttle service to and from the cruise port. What time should I be at the ship

Answer

Carnival cruises requires that all guests be at the pier by 9:00 am to board the Carnival Radiance. The time to board the ship is controlled by US Customs and Immigration. No one is allowed to board the ship until US Customs and Immigration has cleared the ship.

Answer

A porter is a person waiting to take your luggage so that it can be delivered to your stateroom on the ship.

What time can I get off the ship once we arrive back in Long Beach

Answer

The ship docks at 8:00 am, but no one can leave the ship until it clears customs. Customs clearance can range from 1 hour up to about 3 hours.

You will be provided with your boarding number. You can use your boarding number to print your luggage tags and boarding pass for the ship.

How many hand-carry-on bags can I bring

Answer

ONE (1). You can only bring 1 hand-carry-on bag and it has to be able to fit through the security machine. Hand-Carry-on bag dimensions: 24" W x 16" H All other luggage must be checked in with the porter and will be delivered to your room after the reception. PLEASE CONSIDER TIPPING YOUR PORTER. Recommended $1-$2 per bag.

NO. Please ensure that you have everything you need for the wedding and the reception, as you will NOT see your checked luggage until after the reception. Please know that there is a lot of walking to board the ship, so we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and maybe carry your dress shoes and any other personal items that you may need, in a hand-carry-on bag.

Can I check into my room immediately when I board the ship

NO. The rooms will not be ready until after the wedding. Once you arrive in the parking lot of the terminal, there will be porters that can check your luggage in and your luggage will be sent to your room. * PLEASE CONSIDER TIPPING YOUR PORTER. Recommended $1-$2 per bag.

A Sail & Sign card is the card that you use for all purchases while on the ship and your cabin (stateroom) room key. You can link your debit credit card to the sail and sign card or load cash to it at the customer service desk

We would love to see everyone dressed up, but do you boo. This is a celebration! Please know that there is a lot of walking to board the ship, so we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and maybe carry your dress shoes and any other personal items that you may need, in a hand-carry-on bag.

Can I use my cell phone on board the ship

Answer

Yes, with Wi-Fi and through the Carnival Hub app. BEFORE THE SHIP LEAVES THE PORT, you must: 1. download the CARNIVAL HUB app 2. put your phone on AIRPLANE MODE. The Carnival Hub app will allow you to communicate with other passengers on the ship, but you will need Wi-Fi. If you would like to use social media, stream, communicate OFF SHIP, etc. (outside of the Carnival Hub), you will need Wi-Fi. There are various Wi-Fi packages to choose from. I recommend getting at least the minimum package available, so you will be able to communicate with people onboard, using the Carnival Hub app. For more information about Wi-Fi packages, please visit Carnival.com. Many passengers also choose to use two-way radios/walkie-talkies to communicate with each other on board as well.

How do I book an activity in Mexico ? Excursion Information - Ensenada, Mexico

Answer

EXCURSIONS You can book excursions through either Carnival.com or the Carnival Hub app. Once you download the app or go to the website, you must register with your booking number. After you have registered, you will be able to see the excursion options to choose from. You will see excursion options like Ziplining, ATV'ing, Diving, Snorkeling, Horseback Riding, Wine Tasting, History Tours, Food Tours, Shopping, Tequila/Margarita Tours, and much much more. You have the option of booking excursions on your own, through third-party sites, but be aware that your bookings will not be guaranteed by Carnival, so they will not be responsible should anything go wrong. If you would like to stay close to the ship while in Ensenada, the port is within walking distance from local eateries and shopping. Lastly and most importantly, DO NOT GET LEFT IN MEXICO. Be mindful of the time given to return to the ship and be sure that you are at the dock. If you do not make it back to the ship in time, you risk being left, ESPECIALLY if you book through a third party for excursions. Carnival is NOT responsible for third-party bookings.

What Activities are available for kids on the ship

Carnival has a lot of family-friendly activities aboard the ship. Some of the activities include deck parties, game shows, bingo, miniature golf, pools/water park, and more …!! In addition to the above activities, there is a kids club where you can check your child in and out throughout the day at no extra charge. There is also a teen hangout area where teens can check themselves in and out. All kids clubs have many activities planned for the kids throughout the day and into the evening. The kids club also has evening activities where kids can stay late hours, known as the "Night Owls" (for a fee). The character theme on board is “Dr.Seuss” so feel free to bring any Dr. Seuss-themed items you may have. There is a Dr.Seuss parade, storytime, and Dr.Seuss green eggs and ham breakfast (added cost and reservations needed for Dr.Seuss breakfast ). For more information about activities for kids and to reserve your child’s spot in the kids/teen club, you will need to download the Carnival Hub app or log in to Carnival.com with your booking number.
