Our favorite spots to grab a drink are Daquiri Deck Lido Key, Surf Bar, and if you're up for a little authenic cuban live band dancing, The Venue.

This is definitely an off the beaten path spot. Drive 25 minutes south of Sarasota on I-75 and find yourself driving down an old dirt road to one of Florida's oldest in land backwoods fish camps on the Mighty Myakka River. Snook Haven boasts pit bbq, $20 canoeing with dinosaurs, some of the best brackish water fishing around, live music and a river cruise fro the more cautious.
