Grow old with me, the best is yet to be

August 2015. I started working at Dynamic Fitness as the new front desk girl. Austin was a member there. As time went on I found my crowd which coincidentally was the same as his, leading us to see each other at the same house parties. September 2015 we officially met. I was attracted to him, but didn’t think too much past that. One night I was prompted to talk to him. I remember him pulling up to park and as he got out I said “No way, you drive an FRS?!” From there we slowly developed something. It’s a little comical because neither one of us were looking for anything serious. We practically stumbled upon each other, but a few hours here and a few hours there became days, then turned into overnights. Come December 18th, 2015 I asked him to be my boyfriend. By January 2016 we exchange “I love you” for the first time. 10 years in the making and we’re beyond happy. I can’t imagine seeing him with anyone else. December 14th, 2024 we got engaged, and on August 15th, 2026 I’m marrying my best friend. It’s true what they say, “love finds you when you least expect it.”
