We're getting married!

It all started with a swipe on Tinder. What began as a missed message (RIP ok) quickly blossomed into something incredible. We hit it off instantly, sharing our dreams and laughter over lunch on our first date. We couldn't wait to see each other again. We spent each date planning for the next time we'd get to see each other again. Travis was taking countless 1 hour drives to get to Roanoke. It wasn’t long before we decided to move in together, to save ourselves from a long distance relationship. We moved into a new apartment and adopted a dog together, bringing us to 3 fur babies. Everything felt right, and we embraced this new adventure with happy hearts. However, like many couples, we faced our share of challenges. After a few months, we broke up, realizing we needed some time apart to grow individually. That separation was tough, but it also led us to reflect on what we truly wanted. It wasn’t long before we found our way back to each other, stronger and more in love than ever. Following this reconnection, we spent a year doing the long-distance thing. Travis in South Carolina, and Lori 5 hours away in Virginia. We navigated a year of long-distance, proving that our bond can withstand anything. Each visit was filled with joy and anticipation, and we cherished every moment together. Fast forward to now, we are back living together, ready to embrace this next chapter side by side. Our journey has taught us the importance of communication, trust, and enjoying every moment we have with each other. We can't wait to see what the future holds for the Mizes!
