We first met all the way back in third grade at Strausser Elementary. Growing up side by side, neither of us realized that the perfect person was right there the whole time. We both went on to attend Kent State University, where our friendship continued to grow. It wasn’t until senior year of college that our casual nights out turned into date nights. Going out to dinner together was nothing new for us, but one night, as Justin dropped me off at my parents’ house, I told him I liked him, then ran inside before hearing his response. (Luckily, it all worked out!) Justin then asked me to be his girlfriend on August 20th, 2019. Now six and a half years later, after many more date nights and a lot more adventures, what started as a childhood friendship has turned into the greatest adventure of all — our forever.
