Travel Note

Getting There

We're getting married on the beach about 3 hours outside of Sao Paulo in a small town called Toque Toque Pequeno. We have SO much information ready for you at the link below on all things travel - how to get to Brazil, how to get to the wedding, where to stay, etc.

Flight

São Paulo - GRU

São Paulo GRU is the closest international airport to the wedding, and typically the cheapest to fly into internationally. If you're flying out of a smaller city in the US, consider looking at roundtrip flights from major airports like Miami, Orlando, Chicago, etc. which often have cheaper direct flights to GRU, then buying cheapy flights on Frontier, etc. from your home airport to that airport. -- Aeroportos de São Paulo são os mais próximos do casamento.

House Or Rental

Rent a house or condo

There are lots of vacation homes in Toque Toque Pequeno that you can rent directly on AirBnB. We have also reserved the Alapage Hotel, which has 14 condos that include kitchens and comfortably sleep 1 couple or 1 family. If you'd like to stay at the Alapage, contact Ali or Gu directly. Lots more information in the "where to stay" section at the link below!

Travel Note

Passports & Visas

US citizens, and pretty much most other countries, do NOT need a tourist visa to enter Brazil. If you do not have a passport or it's expiring soon, you might want to get moving as wait times for passport processing can take up to 18 weeks due to pandemic slowdowns.

Travel Note

COVID-19

As of December 2021, you will need proof of vaccination & a recent negative COVID test to enter Brazil. As anywhere in the world, this is all subject to change. See the link below, section "Entry and Exit Requirements for Travel to Brazil", for the most up to date info.
