We're Getting Married!

Some love stories begin with a spark — ours began with a small mistake and a twist of fate. We met during our senior year of high school in what can only be described as an unexpected beginning. Kali was volunteering at schedule pick-up, helping students collect their materials, when she accidentally mixed up Sean’s book order. That moment could’ve been nothing… but Sean saw an opportunity. That night, he sent Kali a message on Instagram, a simple note that led to a conversation, then a phone number, and soon after, a first date. From there, everything just felt right. We spent our senior year together, making memories we’d carry with us forever. After graduation, we both chose Central Michigan University, where we grew as individuals and as a couple; surrounded by the support of our friendships,and grounded in the love that had only deepened since high school. After graduation, we packed up our lives and moved to North Carolina, excited (and a little nervous) for a brand new adventure. It was there, in August 2024, surrounded by the beauty of Duke Gardens, that Sean asked Kali to marry him — and she said yes. One year later, we returned to Illinois and now live in Naperville, where we’ve settled into a life we love, complete with our sweet dog, Kai, who brings endless joy (and maybe a little chaos) to our home. From a misplaced book order to building a life hand in hand, our journey has been full of love, growth, and a bond that has only strengthened with every step we’ve taken side by side. We’re so grateful for every moment that brought us here — and we can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of our forever with all of you.
