Hike along the lakeside cliffs to the end of Shovel Point for views over Lake Superior and rock climbers in action. Or walk just a few city blocks from the visitor center to a gravel beach where the Baptism River meets Lake Superior.
Palisade Head is a massive cliff that overlooks Lake Superior and offers panoramic views. Often regarded one of the best North shore views of Lake Superior in the area. A great stop on your way up!
Lovely & secluded along the Manitou River. When the surrounding State Parks are busy, you can usually find some solitude in George H. Crosby Manitou.
