Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one! Please indicate their attendance when you RSVP. We are limited to 150 people so please reach out if you want to bring more than 1 person that wasn’t on the original invite.
There will be limited parking available (25 cars). We encourage you to carpool if possible. There is another parking lot down the road but it may be full due to others using the hiking trails in the area.
Yes, we will have some alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own since this is a group picnic area but please be respectful and throw away your bottles and cans!
The ceremony is scheduled to start at noon but you know how things go! Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to park, chat and find a seat! PS, there may be additional traffic because of construction and people out viewing the fall leaves. The average drive to this location from Denver is about 45 minutes.
The dress code is comfortable! Bring a jacket, Colorado weather can be unpredictable. In the event of rain, there is shelter at the site.
Not for us but September and October are prime months for taking a drive to view the leaves turning. There may be heavier traffic due to this.
