Maid of Honor
Jordyne and I met in first grade, since then we have shared pretty much everything together. She is the person who knows the most about me and has been there for me through it all. I am so thankful to have had her for all of my "big" moments as well as the tough and small ones.
Matron of Honor
Kelsey and I met in middle school, but sports brought us together. Since she moved home after working in Kentucky, she has been one of my closest friends. She's my gym buddy, motivator, cheerleader, confidant, and so much more. I recently stood up in her wedding in September 2018.
Maid of Honor
Danielle and I met working together at Summit Academy. We became fast friends and eventually roommates! Danielle has a heart of gold and would do anything for her friends. She's been there for me through some of my lowest moments, as well as the best moments of my life! I am so thankful that she came into my life.
Best Man
Doug is Sam's brother. From family vacations, to family dinners, to an occasional drink at Jerzees, we always have a good time. We love spending time with Doug, Amy, and baby Everly.
Bridesmaid
Stevie is another one of my bridesmaids who I met in Middle School. Soccer brought us together--spending a ton of time on the field together as I was the defender to her goalie! She has an amazing sense of humor and although we were separated during our college years, we picked up right where we left off afterwards! I stood up in Stevie's wedding in August, and her son Wyatt is our ring bearer!
Groomsman
Macari is one of Sam's childhood best friends. They grew up in the same neighborhood, went to school with each other and spent many summers in the Macari's pool. Anthony is currently serving in the National Guard and is a firefighter.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I met through swim club when we were in elementary school. We also, (in)conveniently broke our arms at the same time! We battled high school together, attended many concerts, and visited each other throughout college. I stood up in Katie's wedding in September 2017. Our parents are great friends and I couldn't imagine life without her!
Groomsman
Sam Gemus is another one of Sam's childhood friends. They grew up in the same neighborhood and went to school together. We love when Sam comes home from Colorado--he always is a good time!
Bridesmaid
Hannah and I met in college when we both joined the sorority, Alpha Xi Delta. We grew incredibly close those four years and were able to live together for one of them! She was my voice of reason and so much more. I was so sad when I moved Hannah to Arizona after graduation, but I am thankful for constant girls' trips and being able to stay so close!
Groomsman
Sam has known Kam since he was born. The Bouchards and the Gurneys have always been very close and have done many things together from family vacations to playing each other in sports.
Bridesmaid
I've known Megan since elementary school. Her and my brother, Jimmy, were friends first. She came on a family vacation with us and the rest is history! I consider her to be my little sister. If you know Meg, you know she has a heart of gold and is one of the funniest people that I know!
Groomsman
Marco and Sam began their true friendship when "Marco kept showing up at Sam's dorm freshman year." They eventually lived with each other and today play on the same hockey team on Sunday evenings.
Bridesmaid
Although Lauren and I met from being sorority sisters, I consider her to be so much more than that! I have always looked up to Lauren as one of my role models. I have shared many firsts with Lauren. She taught me how to ski, went on my first river tubing trip with her, showed me around DC, and attempted to teach me how to water ski ( I am not very good). I stood up in Lauren's wedding in June 2012. Although our lives have been incredibly busy, I know that she is always there and I can count on her!
Groomsman
Sam first knew "Grignon" as "Marco's friend who didn't go to State but was always there." When Sam moved home from college they became very close, spending many College Football Saturdays rooting for state. Grignon also plays hockey with Sam and Marco on Sundays.
Bridesmaid
Mary and I met in college also through sorority. We bonded over a love of soccer, a similar music taste, and many tv shows. Mary has a drive and work ethic that I have always admired. Despite how hard she works, she also knows how to have fun! We have had so many fun memories through trips, concerts, sporting events, and more! I stood up in her wedding in May 2016! Mary has lived and traveled all over the country and world, but she has always been there for me, and for that I am so thankful!
Groomsman
Jimmy is my brother, but I am SO thankful that him and Sam get along very well. They have many common interests such as Spartan Sports, tailgates, and making fun of me whenever they get the chance.
Bridesmaid
Kira is my sister-in-law. I have always been protective of my little brother. When he introduced Kira to our family, I was so excited! I could not have hand picked a better person for my brother to spend his life with, and I was so excited to finally gain a sister. We have made so many good memories at concerts, Bachelor Viewing Parties, zoo trips and sporting events. I stood up in her and Jimmy's wedding in October 2016! While she is my family, I am so thankful to also call her my friend.
Groomsman
Sam and Tony became friends when they were matched up in the same pod in middle school. They remained friends in high school and played hockey together. Tony and Sam "love to hate" one another.
Bridesmaid
Meg and I met through playing travel soccer together. We reconnected when I moved home from college. We connected instantly and spent that first summer making some of my favorite memories! Megan has one of the biggest hearts out of anyone that I know! I am thankful that she has always been a kind and caring friend.
Bridesmaid
Jillian is my "little" cousin who isn't so little anymore! I've known her since she was born! I am lucky to spend Sundays with her at family dinners. She has grown up to be such a beautiful person both inside and out. I can't wait to watch her enjoy her senior year and what's to come for her!
Bridesmaid
Amy is my future sister-in-law! When I first met the Gurneys, Amy was so kind and welcoming. I have loved spending time with her on family trips, dinners, and watching her become a mom! I can't wait to officially call her my sister!
Groomsman
Brady is my cousin. My family is very close and spends many Sundays with another and so Brady and Sam have gotten to hang out quite a bit! Many Sundays have been spent discussing the Lion's poor fortune, and joining in with Jimmy and Sam to tease me. :)
Flower Girl
Ruthie Capone likes my little pony, playing at the park, and school! She is four years old. Ruthie is Sam's cousin, Allison's daughter. We can't wait to watch her bust some of her moves on the dance floor. She also has been known for practicing her flower girl duties with broccoli.
Flower Girl
Everly is Sam's (and soon to be my) niece! She is Doug and Amy's daughter, who shares a birthday month with Sam. We love her dearly and think she is the cutest! Currently, she loves chewing on her "rings". Sam is also Everly's Godfather.
Ring Bearer
Wyatt John Ritter is one of the funniest kids I know! I am known to him as "Aunt B." We can't wait to have Wyatt as our ring bearer! He has had a lot of practice walking down the aisle this summer in both Stevie and Kelsey's weddings. Wyatt has spent some time in my parent's pool and playing with all of the "dog dogs."
