John and I met in 2020, John transferred to Waterville High School, Where I had spent my entire academic life. We shared a few classes, which I had then started to develop a huge crush on him, even though I was too nervous to approach him. Months later, fate brought us together at a school event here in Waterville, where I had made an awkward glance at him, and to my surprise, he struck up a witty conversation! Encouraged on how well we clicked, I invited him to a Wenatchee Wild's hockey game with a few of my friends, not realizing it was on February 14th (Valentines Day) and that they would have a kiss cam. My friends started pointing us out, making a scene trying to get us on the screen, and before we knew it, we appeared! That spontaneous moment turned into our first kiss, which was hilariously captured on video by John's elementary music teach. (See above!)

This year John and I purchased our first home, in the midst of the home buying process we had a trip planned to Bozeman, MT to visit family. April 21st, 2024, our last day in Bozeman we were getting ready to leave our Air Bnb which was ironically an old schoolhouse converted to a home, as I finished zipping my bag I turned around and there John was on his knee! It was by the far easiest yes! -We have built a love that feels unbreakable, navigating life's challenges all while building the future we've always envisioned! ♡ Not to mention our little pals, Peach the pup, Kitty, Kratos, and Clio our 3 cats!
