We're tying the knot!

Vipin and Gurleen share a similar story, even prior to meeting in real life. They both were being pestered by friends, family, strangers- on when they were going to settle down. Vipin had heard his share of questions, and Gurleen had ran across the country trying to escape the constant questioning and pestering. The universe had a different idea in mind- as they both decided one fateful day to give DilMil a try. Yes, although cheesy, they both wanted to start dating, and see what was out there, without the pestering from their friends and family. One swipe and several conversations later, Gurleen and Vipin knew there was something that was different- something worth exploring. You see, one important part of this story, was that Vipin and Gurleen had matched on DilMil without knowing that they both were living in two completely different states- Gurleen in Seattle, and Vipin in Utah. But as fate would have it, after the first few discussions, Vipin told Gurleen that he was planning on moving to Seattle in a few short months. Gurleen decided to tell her sister, Supreet, on the way back from DC- about the mystery man that she had started really liking. Supreet saw the glimmer in Gurleen's eyes, and pushed for her to ask Vipin to come to Seattle to meet her in person, before things became more serious. In that moment, Gurleen messaged Vipin from thousands of feet above the ground, on her flight back from DC. If he was serious, he had to come to her- sooner rather than later, and before he moved to Seattle for good. Little did Gurleen know, that she had found someone just as crazy as her, Vipin booked his tickets to Seattle for the next weekend, before her flight landed in Seattle that same day. To add to the cheesy Bollywood romance, the day that Vipin's flight landed in Seattle- Gurleen was also coming back from a work trip and was set to land within an hour of Vipin's flight. But no Bollywood movie is complete without the drama, and both of their flights kept getting delayed. Minutes turned to hours, and they two flights that were supposed to land at 8, ended up landing within minutes of each other, and that too, right before midnight. And now cue the cheesy music and first meeting at the airport- the moment Gurleen laid eyes on Vipin, she knew. Vipin however, had seen her well in advance given that Gurleen has terrible eyesight and had several moments to admire her looking around like a lost puppy. The first visit led to many more flights between the two states, until Vipin moved to Seattle for good. The rest, as they say is history... They've continued to visit Seattle Airport now, but for different reasons: to explore their love of travel together.
