We met during Catherine’s senior year at LSU, and like most great love stories, it all started with a first date we’ll never forget. We spent the evening on the patio at Bin 77, talking, laughing, and completely losing track of time. As soon as we finished eating, the skies opened up and it started pouring. Gunner quickly gave the waitress his card to pay so we could make a dash for it, but he must’ve been a little distracted (maybe by the girl he was with?) because he left his credit card behind without even realizing it. The rain didn’t stop us, though. We grabbed ice cream and kept the night going — wet clothes and all. It wasn’t until Gunner left for a guys’ trip the next day that he realized his card was missing! We fell in love fast — and deeply — and we’ve now been together for over four amazing years. In that time, we’ve built a life full of shared memories: supporting each other through countless study dates, cheering side by side at sporting events, and soaking up every moment we can with our families — who mean the absolute world to us. We also love traveling together and have already explored Mexico, Hawaii, and many states across the U.S. We’re looking forward to all the adventures still to come — starting with our honeymoon in Maui! Catherine is now a Registered Nurse in Baton Rouge, and Gunner is finishing up his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After the wedding, we’ll be starting our next chapter together on the Northshore in Mandeville — and we couldn’t be more excited. We’re so thankful to have you as part of our story and can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all the people we love most.
