The wedding is black tie optional. Men can wear a tux or suit. Women can wear long or cocktail dresses. The wedding and ceremony are outside in a garden so we would recommend women wearing thicker heels or flats and to bring a shawl if they tend to get chilly.
We have a hotel block at Fairmont Miramar - Hotel & Bungalows (101 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401). https://book.passkey.com/go/ThomasKohl Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel (11461 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049) is very close to the wedding location and is another great option. There are also plenty of AirBnb & VBRO options across the Brentwood and Santa Monica areas that we welcome our guests to explore.
There is street parking at the venue location but we strongly encourage people to use Uber/Lyft so they can enjoy the festivities without worrying about driving home :)
There won't be any organized transportation to or from the hotels/wedding venues. There is plenty of street parking for those who would like to drive but we strongly encourage guests to utilize Lyft/Uber.
The ceremony will begin at 5pm, please arrive between 4:30pm - 4:55pm so we can begin on time.
There should be plenty of food options but please reach out to kgkohlwedding@gmail.com with any allergies so that we can accommodate them.
Our guests safety is our number priority! We will be reaching out to guests closer to the date to finalize safety measurements around vaccinations and testing requirements.
