Their love story begins in the quaint state of Rhode Island where they attended the same college, both with a major in Nursing. Charlotte and Gunnar met their junior year (well... Gunnar's round 2 of junior year) at the University of Rhode Island. As many modern day romances begin, theirs was no different, it was indeed love at first swipe. Tinder messages were exchanged and they had their very first date the following day at a local coffee shop known as Fuel. This would be the beginning of their relationship and never-ending coffee shop dates.

Charlotte and Gunnar graduated college in May of 2020 with their BSN. Charlotte began her nursing career in Connecticut while Gunnar began his in New Hampshire. A 2 hour drive separated Charlotte and Gunnar over the next year and a half. This was difficult for them but they took every opportunity they could to visit and build relationships with each other's friends and families. Charlotte and Gunnar always wanted to do travel nursing together, and their dreams became reality when they accepted their first assignment in O'ahu, Hawai'i. They would then go on to travel nurse in San Diego, California, and Palo Alto, California. They spent their free time exploring, going for walks or hiking, trying new restaurants and of course, going to all of the local coffee shops. They are self-proclaimed expert packers, driving across the country in Charlotte’s little Honda Civic. Gunnar also entered many short-term relationships with large-equipment hobbies that they transported between a whopping 7 apartments. They moved back to the East Coast and are currently living in Connecticut, with their golden retriever puppy Sully. Charlotte, Gunnar, and Sully are a happy family and are overjoyed to have you on their wedding day. They have been together for 6 years and have cherished every moment.
