We met on a day trip with some common friends and family. After a brief introduction we went on about our day, but our eyes kept finding each other more often and longer than usual. After some conversations, banter and chivalry throughout the day, the cold winds and the misty hills did its magic, and we "caught a vibe". Thanks to social media, we found each other immediately after the trip and spent hours talking and texting. That’s pretty much when we thought, “Okay. This could be something.”

Ten years later ... I was absolutely sure Aditi was the one and it was time that we became permanent roommates. Luckily, she went on a work trip and was supposed to return on the day of our 10th anniversary when we first met. On our way back from the airport, and into our house, she was talking to me about her trip and had no clue what was about to happen. She entered through the door and looked to check her mail, but instead found me, down on one knee. She was flabbergasted but managed to say "YES" in between her happy tears, and we were engaged!
