The Proposal in Italy happened in June 2018. Justin surprised Beth in Fiesole, a small Etruscan town outside of Florence, Italy, after she completed a medical service trip in Uganda, Africa. She and her friends from their cohort decided to take a trip to explore while overseas. Little did Beth know, all of her friends were in on the surprise. After booking a ticket, buying a ring, and failing to sweet talk his way into his lead up, Justin got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
