On December 2, 2016, a date at Shedd Aquarium turned into the day Luis asked Catherine to be his girlfriend.

Our favorite summer pastime is being outdoors with Aspen, from camping to lake days to hiking. We love it all.

Our most recent festival was North Coast Music Festival. It felt nostalgic returning to where we first met and danced the night away.

We got engaged on July 27, 2025 at Kalaloch Beach in Forks, Washington, surrounded by the beauty of Olympic National Park.
