Travel Tips
Please book the hotels in advance (Iceland summer is peak season for tourism). We recommend downtown Reykjavík but you can find cheaper hotels in the greater capitol region. Keep in mind that public transportation is somewhat limited in Iceland. We recommend car rental for your stay.
This is a great tip on getting around:

Some things about Iceland
- hot water can be up to 90°C/194°F hot
- the hot water also, well... lets be honest it smells like eggs/farts. It's good for your skin! But not nice to drink.
- don't buy bottled water, please. It's just cold tap water in a bottle.
- Uber and Lyft is not a thing in Iceland instead call these cab companies:
5610000 and 5885522, Iceland country extension is 00354
- straeto is the bus system, (google straeto app)
- alcohol is highly taxed, but not in the airport
- our swimming pools are great, so bring a swimsuit!
