It was a perfect day in Ames—the first Iowa State football game at full capacity in Jack Trice Stadium since the pandemic and the Cyclones were coming off their best season in program history. David had just purchased season tickets in the row directly in front of Cassie’s (S/O Section 16), and as fate would have it, their friend groups were equally loud, loyal, and ready to chirp each other all game long. Numbers were exchanged, and by the following fall, they were officially dating—strategically seated, of course, one row apart. Fast forward to November 2024; in a full-circle moment, David proposed to Cassie in the Jack Trice parking lot—right where it all began, after a fun-filled morning of pickle vodka shots at the Tip Top, the sounds of the Cyclone Football Varsity Marching Band, and a few very confused tailgaters. And now, here we are getting married, still bantering, and still cheering on our Cyclones from Section 16. However, now we sit in the same row.
