It all began in June 2017. After an incredibly sweet first date at Edley’s Bar-B-Que, Matt left town on vacation. A few days later, Liz flew to Maryland for a two week trip with family and friends. But after just one date, Matt and Liz couldn’t get each other out of their minds. Over the next several days, they texted, called and counted down the days until they were both back in Kentucky. When they finally reunited, they were inseparable. After a year full of adventures, from moving in together to our first road trip to the beach, Matt popped the question! They were enjoying wine and pasta under the lighted tree at Bella Notte when Matt suddenly got down on one knee and asked Liz to spend the rest of her life with him. It was unexpected, romantic and absolutely perfect. Of course, she said yes! They couldn’t wait to to get home and share the exciting news with their fur babe, Louie! Now the three of them are looking forward to writing this next chapter in their lives.
