Emily and Shauna met in college, but didn't become friends until later when they moved in together in Seattle. They spent close to five years living together and exploring Seattle, including barbecues at Gasworks park, late night Seattle dogs, attending sports events and concerts, along with many other adventures!

Craig is Chad’s older brother by 2 1/2 years but they’ve always been best friends. They were really close growing up, and enjoyed mimicking sports heros in the backyard. They still enjoy sporting events and family time together to this day.

Emily and Shauna became sisters-in-law in 2018 and share a mutual love for Kate Spade, old fashioneds, yummy baked goods, and happy hours.
Ryan

Ryan and Chad met in 2003 during college while working at Staples. They bonded over many political debates about George W. Bush, and grew to appreciate each others' differing opinions. Even after college, living many states away, they’ve stayed close and Ryan has remained a major support person in Chad’s life.
Reetu

Shauna and Reetu met on their first day working at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. They became fast friends and sat back-to-back for years, always scheming up DIY projects and fun recipes to make!
Aaron

Shortly after Chad and Shauna began dating, Chad met Shauna’s brother Aaron. Chad appreciated how quickly Aaron made him feel like part of the family. They’ve since bonded over sports, bbq, and scotch. As such an important person in both Chad and Shauna's lives, they couldn't think of anyone better to marry them!

Shanah and Shauna met each other while working at Cocoon House, but they really bonded over watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a glass of wine in hand. They've remained one of each others "people" through job changes and grad school, through kids and pets, through moves and move backs and moves again, and through all the family and life changes.

Friends since returning to Seattle in 2013, Jon has been an incredibly supportive person for Chad through the ups and downs of the last decade. He is someone Chad can always count on for hanging out and having a good time.
Archer

Archer is our nephew and stole our hearts with spit bubbles, face grabs, and crying every time Auntie Shauna laughs her booming laugh. 💙
Tyler
Groomsman
Chad met Tyler at work in the winter of 2014 as apprentice plumbers. Neither of them had any clue what they were doing and helped each other out on many occasions to make it through those first few grueling years. Chad and Tyler grew to be good friends through multiple guys nights out and have remained close ever since.

Evan is also our nephew and shares his uncle’s love for all Seattle sports!
