Their journey began in the fall of 2016, in the crowded lecture halls of first-year pharmacy school. They were paired up in a group by chance, not once but three different times. Their bond grew as naturally as the seasons changed — and when winter came, Michael invited Tracy to join him on a snowboarding trip. It was his first time on the slopes, and despite more falls than runs, they laughed through it all. One breezy spring afternoon, he showed up at a local park with her favorite thing in hand: popcorn chicken & boba. From that moment, their story truly began. The years rolled on — graduation, first jobs, adulting — but through every challenge, their love only deepened. They traveled when they could, but one destination remained on their 7 wonder of the world bucket list: Brazil was next. In early 2024, they finally made it happen. It was in the lush, vibrant beauty of the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden that Michael got down on one knee. Surrounded by orchids, palm trees, and the quiet hum of nature, he asked her the biggest question of all. Tracy said yes.
