Where he proposed! A beautiful waterfront boardwalk in the heart of the city.
Stanley Park
Guillermo's favorite park - great for scenic photos, a drive along the water, picnics, and bike rides. Plenty of spots to stop and park to see views of all angles of the city!
Granville Island
Reeman's favorite public market - here, you can buy fresh fruit, handicrafts, pastries, and food from local vendors, then sit on the pier to snack or take a mini boat ride across the river to Science World and other parks!
Vancouver Aquarium
Otters, penguins, dolphins, fish! What more could you ask for?
Richmond Night Market
Canada's largest night market, full of East Asian food and products. Here, we always go for the various bubble teas and sushi tacos, carnival games, and of course anime and video game merch.
English Bay Beach
A sandy beach right on the edge of downtown, highly recommend.
Robson Square
The shopping district of Vancouver. Walk along the street for various stores, or stop by the Vancouver Art Gallery and Public Library at the center of it all. There are usually food trucks parked outside; if you happen to see them, Reeman's recommendation is the the Mr. Shawarma truck!
Capilano Suspension Bridge
The suspension bridge and treetop adventure is a must-see in Vancouver.
White Rock Beach
As a 15 minute drive from our home, this spot is our go-to beach and board walk for a breath of fresh air. This is a good quick spot to visit if you're staying in the area.
Whistler Village Centre
This one's a little further out, but for some iconic mountain fun we recommend heading up to Whistler.
Victoria
British Columbia's capital city. Take a scenic ferry ride and spend the day at the parliament building, the botanical gardens, or exploring the beaches this quaint city has to offer.
Buntzen Lake
The lake we spend summers at, it is very scenic and pretty.
Grouse Mountain
If you want to do mountain-y stuff, this is one easily accessible one. Try the Grouse Grind if you want the quintessential Vancouverite hiking experience!
Mount Garibaldi
A little far out, but a highly sought after beautiful lake and mountain destination with turquoise blue waters and hiking trails.
