We met in 2011 when we were both studying our doctorate degrees in the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus (RCM). Ana was in Pharmacy school and Guillermo was in Dental school, all within the same campus. We were both part of our class boards and Pharmacy(Ph), Dental(O), and Medical(M) school classes started hosting a fundraiser party called PhOM where all class boards came together for planning and that is when Ana and Guillermo met. Nothing ever happened back in those days and we both graduated from our doctorate degrees in 2014 and parted ways: Guille to NYC and then Philly and Ana to Iowa. Fast forward to 2019, Guillermo returned to Puerto Rico on 7/15/19 (Ana’s birthdate). Ana had already been back since 2015 working in Abarca, where Guillermo’s older sister, Adriana, and Ana’s former boss Suzette had gotten the idea to set us up on a date, but we both said no. A couple of months passed and we started talking through social media and 1-2 months prior to COVID pandemic starting, we started dating and the rest is history. We moved in and now we have 2 beautiful dogs together (Frida & Pluto) and 3 horses (Turrón, Merengue, Huracán) and we can’t wait to get married!!
