We're Getting Married!

Aubrey and Michael’s story began in the most “forbidden” of ways—It all started on Black Friday 2018 at Lure Fish House, when Michael, the new manager, walked in and instantly caught Aubrey’s eye. Amid clattering trays and nonstop kitchen madness, they managed a secret romance—complete with covert meetings in the walk-in. Through those early adventures, they quickly discovered who they were together: Michael, a New Jersey guy chasing his California dream of golfing year-round, and Aubrey, a true California girl, quickly discovered a shared love of laughter, adventure, and travel. Their dating life took them on cross-country trips, all-inclusive Mexican resorts, lakeside happy hours in Tahoe, and countless wine tastings across California. Over the past seven years, they’ve built a beautiful life together alongside their two dogs, Cece and Charlie. Michael proposed in classic bachelor-style fashion: a walkway of red roses, him on one knee—and Aubrey said yes before the question was even finished. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by friends and family.
