When to arrive: Please arrive no later than 2:30pm so you can be done setting up by 3:30pm! It will be too dark to find a camping spot and set up your tent after the reception, you must be done before 3:30pm. Feel free to arrive earlier than 2:30pm to claim a spot and set up. Where do I put my tent: There are no reserved tent spots, it will be first come first serve. Your tent must go in the designated "Forest" site campground area. The camping area will be near the entrance to the parking lot and the first fire ring. DO NOT put your tent in the "Lake" campground area at the other end of the parking lot (near the second fire ring and the pavilion) or up the trail where the ceremony will take place. There will be signs and people to help you. Check out is 11:00am Sunday morning. No outside alcohol or food is allowed until after the wedding reception is over. Please keep that in your car until 10:00pm, when the after party starts. What should I bring: Bring your own tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, extra water for after the reception and warm layers/clothing! It will be cold overnight, expect it to get into the 40s F (below 10 degrees C). Optional: camping chairs, late night snacks and beverages, comfortable change of clothes/shoes
The ceremony will start at 4:00pm, so please come with plenty of time to park and find the campground area between 2:30-3:30pm (you are welcome to come earlier to set up camp/tents). If you are planning to camp with a tent you will need to set up your tent BEFORE the ceremony starts in the designated camping area! Please be done setting up your tent by 3:30 at the latest!
Altitude sickness is serious and no fun! If you are coming from lower elevation, we recommend coming a couple days early to adjust to the high altitude. Denver elevation is 5,280 ft and Dillon elevation is 9,000 ft! DRINK A LOT OF WATER and give your body rest while it adjusts to the thin air up here! You may want to consider renting supplemental oxygen if you think you may need it. https://alpineoxygen.net/ https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/15111-altitude-sickness

Yes there is a large gravel lot for parking. If you are planning to bring a large vehicle or trailer to camp in, please let us know so we can make sure there will be enough space for all our guests.
No, please plan your own ride. Ubers and taxis are very limited in the area and there is a concert at the Dillon Amphitheater across the lake which will likely increase the Uber demand. We recommend camping with us after the wedding :)
