'tis the season to be married

Allison and Logan’s love story starts the same way a lot of modern love stories do – with an online dating profile. Except, this profile wasn’t on a dating app; no, Allison’s dating profile was actually in the form of a job resumé. While applying for an internship with the South Bend Cubs (where Logan had been working for a few years), Allison’s colorful and eye-catching resumé went as far as to feature some of her interests and favorite things, which included “Christmas” and “movie scores”. That was more than enough to get the attention of Logan’s co-workers who immediately dubbed her “Logan’s future wife” before she had even interviewed for the job. Fast forward a few months to early March 2018: Baseball season is inching closer and closer and things around the office are getting busier. Logan could sense that his newest coworker (yes, that one) was feeling a little stressed out and probably a tad bit frustrated, so he offered to buy her a drink after work. Allison accepted the invitation, which led to several hours of conversation over a few drinks and appetizers. Little did they know at the time, that was the beginning of something magical. Another week or so passes and several Cubs employees were headed out to watch some March Madness at a local bar (Do you remember where you were when #16 UMBC beat #1 Virginia? Logan sure does.). What started as a table of 8-10 people slowly tapered off as the evening went on and by the end of the night there were just two people left. I bet you can guess who those two people were. Things progressed over the following days and weeks. Movie dates and all-day text conversations were catalysts in the blossoming relationship, but it was really Allison’s thoughtful birthday celebration for Logan that got them both thinking about their future together. From that moment on, Allison and Logan were inseparable. It has been a wild ride filled with cheesecake, Christmas movie marathons, concerts, and comedy shows.
