Caitlin and Michael met at work during the summer of 2015 in New York City. Caitlin was brand new to Manhattan (her dream city) and recently moved from Chicago. Michael, a born and raised Jersey boy, had been in the city for a few years since graduating college. From the very first moment they met, Caitlin knew Michael was the one. She's not sure what it was about him -maybe the perfect combination of a big smile, humor and kindness - but she knew that one day they'd be together for good. A few months later, Caitlin and Michael ended up overlapping for margaritas with a group of friends. Caitlin had waited for months to get to know Michael outside of work and she was not going to miss her chance. Everyone who knows Caitlin knows she's impatient, honest, and can easily identify what she wants. Everyone who knows Michael knows he's committed but slow to pull the trigger....the perfect combination. Caitlin made the first move which led to their first kiss. Then things followed by Michael planning their first date. After a few hang outs & dinners, Michael realized Caitlin was the most special girl he had ever met, and by New Year's Eve, the two were officially dating. Somewhere between their first 'I love you', meeting one another's families, and creating thousands of memories over three and a half years, Michael made the perfect first move into their next chapter. He planned the most beautiful and intimate proposal on Pier 25 in Manhattan, followed by dinner and a surprise celebration with friends.
