Our Love StoryOur Love Story

Megan and Steve's love story began in the halls of Gebhardt BMW in 2015. Megan, a bright and welcoming receptionist, often exchanged glances with Steve, a meticulous service genius with a kind heart. Their paths crossed daily, and over time, those glances turned into conversations filled with shared laughter and inside jokes. In February of 2016, Steve had just returned from a study-abroad trip to Spain. Inspired by the romantic air of the country and the growing bond between them, he asked Megan to be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. Nervous but certain, he pulled her aside after work and said, "I've been thinking about this for a while… Megan, will you be my girlfriend?" Her eyes lit up, and with a smile, she said yes. Their relationship blossomed over the next eight years. Megan a Denver Nuggets Dancer, pursued her passion for dance while balancing her studies at CU Boulder. Steve, a dedicated student at CU Boulder himself, graduated in 2017. Megan was by his side, supporting him every step of the way, just as he had supported her. In 2019, Megan celebrated her graduation from CU Boulder, with Steve cheering the loudest in the crowd. Together, they navigated the ups and downs of life, growing stronger with every challenge. In 2023, their lives took an unexpected turn when they welcomed their baby boy, Charlee. However, Charlee was diagnosed with parvovirus, a difficult time for the new parents. But through every sleepless night and hospital visit, Megan and Steve stood side by side, their love deepening in the face of hardship. Later that November, Steve planned a surprise. He took Megan to Glen Eyrie Castle in Colorado Springs, a place of history and beauty. Under the soft glow of the castle’s lights, he knelt down on one knee and asked the question that had been on his heart for years, "Megan, will you marry me?" Overwhelmed with emotion, she said yes. Their journey had been one of love, resilience, and unwavering support. And as they stood hand in hand at the castle, with their son Charlee waiting for them, they knew this was just the beginning of their forever.
