Our story began the modern way—on Bumble, in December 2023. After several long nights of messaging back and forth (and a lot of nervous excitement), we made plans to meet in person at the Cincinnati Zoo’s Festival of Lights on December 16th. Surrounded by millions of twinkling lights, something just clicked—and we both felt like we’d found something really special. From that night on, the dates kept coming—our second, third, and many more. And once Thomas invited Gi over for a classic DiGennaro family dinner, everyone knew things were getting serious. (Let’s be honest—anyone who can survive a dinner with six siblings, lots of voices, and way too much food is probably the one.) Gi’s love for tradition and adventure soon led to Thomas being lovingly recruited into every seasonal cliché imaginable—pumpkin patches, Christmas tree farms, you name it. Somewhere between beach trips, spontaneous date nights, and shared playlists, we realized we’d found our perfect match (or, as we like to say, our other orange half). On April 26th,2025, Thomas proposed to Gi at Eden Park in Cincinnati, and a few months later, we tied the knot in beautiful Manteo, North Carolina, surrounded by our closest family and friends. Life in Deer Park, Ohio, with our two kittens, Phoen and Sterling, has been a journey of turning our house into a home, and learning, loving, and growing together along the way.
