We're Getting Married!

The couple met online when Gunnar sent Taylor an Instagram message asking her out to go get ice cream. Taylor looked at Gunnar's Instagram profile and thought he was cute! She realized that he too, attended the same college at Northwest Missouri State University. Taylor decided to message back on Instagram, and gave Gunnar her information so that they could get to know each other! After countless conversations over the phone, Gunnar and Taylor officially met through friends at a college party. Soon after, they had their first date at the Sonic in Maryville, MO. After their first date, Gunnar and Taylor found each other wanting to hang out every day after Gunnar's football practice, and talking endlessly til the early hours in the morning. After growing a strong friendship, and MANY ice cream dates later, Gunnar and Taylor officially started dating in April of 2020! Taylor graduated college in 2021 and decided to teach in the neighboring town of Maryville to stay close to Gunnar while he finished out his senior year. In 2022, Gunnar graduated college with his undergraduate degree and Taylor with her Master's degree. That same weekend of graduation, Gunnar and Taylor's families met each other and the next day helped them move to Kansas City! Gunnar and Taylor have lived in the Kansas City area for about four years now and are excited to get married in the place they love the most with all of their family and friends!
