The largest airport option with the most available flights, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is a 1 hour 50 minute drive to Carmel.

San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) is located closer to Carmel than SFO, but with more limited flight options. SJC is a 1 hour 30 minute drive away from Carmel.

Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is the closest airport to Carmel. It is only a beautiful 13-minute drive to downtown Carmel, or a 17-minute drive to Carmel Valley.
Rental Car
For the times outside of wedding events, we highly recommend renting a car! Uber and Lyft are acceptable for accessing commercial areas, but some of our favorite parts of the Monterey peninsula are best seen by car: hiking trails at Point Lobos, 17-mile drive at Pebble Beach, jaw-dropping views along Highway 1, Big Sur, etc.
