We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met online...hee hee, yup. We had our first date the morning after we talked on the phone all night. And it was all over, we both knew it was to be forever. We met at a cafe called the Hangar in Georgetown, which wasn't close for either of us but it was near the ferry and I had to be to work that day on Bainbridge. Michael was so nervous he didn't eat anything. I was just happy... just beyond happy.

He dropped to one knee after a meal at a local restaurant that we were at with his daughter Amanda and her fiance Cody.....I was caught totally off guard! I actually laughed out loud and said "no way!" but it was just a reaction to his movement, not the actual question...it was a totally unexpected romantic gesture and a lovely way to get asked to be married.
