Alyssa and Kevin technically met in college, but did not date. Kevin was on the baseball team and Alyssa was on the softball team so obviously they had mutual friends through the years. Then, after college, both Alyssa and Kevin were living in Pittsburgh, Southside specifically. They would always see each other out and about so one day Kevin asked Alyssa (slid in the DMs) to go get a drink at Dive Bar. Dive Bar turned into Tequila Cowboy and the rest is history. Kevin asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend after a lovely day of sightseeing, ice skating, and drinking wine in Chicago. 12/14/18

We were in the process of building our house and wanted some professional photos done to put up on the walls. So we hired a photographer. We were taking photos all through the city of Pittsburgh and our last stop was at The Point. Kevin got down on one knee and popped the question. Alyssa obviously said yes and everyone from the boats in the water to the stairs at the fountain were cheering and saying congratulations.
