We recommend flying into San Francisco.
There are many nice hotels and Airbnb's in Marin. We recommend looking for lodging in Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, or Larkspur to be closest to the wedding events. San Francisco, San Rafael, and Stinson Beach are also nice, but farther away.
Regarding ground transportation: we suggest using Uber or a similar service to get to and from the weekend's events. If you drive to the wedding please use the parking spaces at the Audubon center or park along the road. If you prefer public transit, there is an airport shuttle from SFO called the Marin Airporter that will take you to Manzanita in Tam Valley and you can Uber or arrange to be picked up from there.
