So... what's the story? How did you two meet? Fall in love? Decide to spend forever together?!

From Ali's POV: We met while pursuing our MBA's at the University of Maryland. The first day we met, we wanted nothing to do with each other. The second day, we were put in a group, and after some laughs, realized we were both kind of fun! We quickly became best friends. During that time there was a lot of "are you sure you aren't dating?" and "you guys are clearly in love" (both from friends and family alike). It wasn't until a year later though that we finally decided to be together. As soon as we started dating, I knew he was the one!! From Jared's POV: I went to UMD thinking I was earning an MBA - dedicated to my studies and ready to hit the books...then I met Ali :) We were best friends and hung out all the time, made jokes, and took all the same classes. I knew Ali was the one for me early on and I waited patiently for her to come to the same realization. After a year of friendship and not-so-subtle hints from everyone around us, we FINALLY decided we should date...WOOO! And what an adventure it's been ever since :) We got engaged December 21, 2024 on the most perfect snowy day in Central Park. We're so glad you're here to hear us say "I do!".

Will Kelp be at the Wedding?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. Kelp will be at a place where he can continue to be the #1 priority for the weekend because that's when he functions best! He's so excited to celebrate with Mom and Dad after!

Will there be children at the wedding?
Answer
Unfortunately - no. We love kids (& hope to have them someday soon!) but we want everyone to let loose, enjoy themselves and have their own night out!

Is the Venue Outside?
Answer
Yes! All events will be outside*. Don't let the brisk fall air scare you; we'll have heaters and blankets to make sure everyone is comfortable, no matter the weather. Everything but the reception will take place on grass so please keep that in mind with footwear! *weather permitting
