As with many places in the Midwest, spring weather can be unpredictable. We may have wonderful weather, get a heavy dose of good luck thanks to a rainstorm, or have a sneak peek of July humidity. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place indoors, but especially if you’re in town for a few days we recommend that you pack with variety in mind.
Formal, black-tie optional. Tuxedos, suits, formal dresses, and pantsuits are all appropriate. Wear what makes you feel your best!
Depending on when you met the groom, you may know him by his middle name, Kai (family and friends prior to college) or by his first name, Sam (friends from college, law school, and beyond). Both are correct and you will hear family call him both throughout the event. Feel free to call him however you know him best!
We kindly ask that only the family members and guests included on your invitation attend.
St. Margaret of Scotland Church is located in a historic city neighborhood. There are limited spots designated for the church in the front, and street parking available along nearby blocks. There is parking in the public lot across from the Forest Park Visitor Center, but there is no private parking available. Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc) availability is ample and encouraged, especially for the reception.
We would recommend stopping in the St. Louis Art Museum and History Museum, both free attractions within Forest Park, getting lunch on The Hill, or finding a great patio to grab a bite to eat and relax. Please refer to our “Things to Do in STL” page for even more recommendations in the surrounding area!
Please RSVP here, on our wedding website, under the RSVP tab. No mail-ins are required!
