Question

What steps are you taking for health and safety due to Covid-19?

Answer

The venue has ensured that they are performing a professional deep cleaning before and after every wedding, sanitizer stations are placed throughout inside and outside of venue, and extra sanitation during reception in restrooms, door handles, etc. Extra chairs will be added to the ceremony so that you can safely distance. Tables at the reception will be as spaced far apart as possible. There will be a seating chart and we will place family members together or guest that share transportation. Additional seating will be added outside if you feel the need to be further away. Floor to ceiling doors line one side of the venue and we plan to have those open to bring as much fresh air as we can. We are getting additional information about the steps our caterer will take to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you put phones, iPads, and ALL personal cameras away during the ceremony. You can grab a photo with the bridal party after the ceremony. We have paid a pretty penny for a wonderful photographer and videographer and we promise to share the photos with you. Be sure to tag your photos you do share to social media with #GroganGoesGordon so we can see the moments we may have missed.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire For her: A casual dress, LBD, or a dressy jumpsuit. For him: A suit, or trouser and blazer combo. A tie only is personally desired.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your littles, but hope to celebrate this day with adults. We hoped by choosing a destination location in the mountains, you'd have a fun weekend getaway or date night.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by October 14. However, due to the current pandemic, we understand your feelings might change and you might no longer feel comfortable attending. We completely understand and just ask that you please let us know so that we can update our vendors of the changes.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm. You should arrive no later than 3:15 pm.

Question

Where should I park at the venue?

Answer

Guest parking will be available in a field beside the venue. A golf cart will escort you to the venue if needed.

Question

Where should I stay? How early should I book a room?

Answer

Check out the travel page for more information about hotel blocks. Book your room as soon as possible. Visiting the mountains during fall is very popular. Book a room, hotel, airbnb etc. sooner rather than later.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside (pray for no rain please!). The reception will be indoors with floor to ceiling doors open on one side of the venue. Guests are welcome to take a break from dancing and enjoy the covered patio with heaters or play games outside by the boxwood wall.
