Milwaukee Art Museum

Built by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the MAM is a lakefront gem and home to almost 25,000 works of art. Definitely worth a visit!
Discovery World

An interactive science and technology museum located on the lakefront - great for kids!
Oak Leaf Trail
Oak Leaf Trail, Milwaukee, WI
Great for exploring if you bring your bike or rent a public Bublr Bike. The paved 108-mile multi-use recreational trail encircles Milwaukee County and goes all the way north to Whitefish Bay, where Katherine grew up.
Historic Third Ward

Located just south of the hotel, the Historic Third Ward is one of the city’s creative hubs, home to art galleries and studios in former warehouses, and performing arts venues like the Broadway Theater Center. Lots of great restaurants, too.
Riverwalk

Located right outside the hotel, the Riverwalk is a continuous pedestrian walkway along the Milwaukee River lined with bars, restaurants, and shops.
Harley-Davidson Museum

Pabst Mansion

Built in 1892 for Captain Frederick Pabst, founder of the Pabst Brewing company, in the Flemish Renaissance Revival-style, this mansion is worth a visit. Call ahead for tours.
Lakeshore State Park

Rent a public Bublr Bike and explore the 22-acre Lakeshore State Park. Great for walking, too.
Milwaukee Public Market

A public market offering local baked goods, cheese, meats, produce and prepared food from local vendors around the city. A great place to get lunch and explore Milwaukee cheeses.

Built in 1888, the historic Milwaukee River Flushing Station is now home to Colectivo Coffee, great for coffee or a quick lunch. Go on a Friday night to listen to Florentine Opera, Musica del Lago & the Friday Nite Music Series.
